The similar phrase 'Worldly Christianity' is one used by Bonhoeffer. It's J Gresham Machen that I want to line up most closely with. See his Christianity and culture here. Having done commentaries on Proverbs (Heavenly Wisdom) and Song of Songs (Heavenly Love), a matching title for Ecclesiastes would be Heavenly Worldliness. For my stance on worldliness, see 3 posts here.

I'm glad you asked (or was it a plant? - if that's the right word). I just saw it in our front room and liked it. Of course, it meets the criteria for this blog admirably. There is nothing more earthly (worldly, if you will) than flowers ... yet, of course, for those with eyes to see, it speaks clearly of heaven and of God. The RHS Chelsea flower show is on now and it's good to remember that all the best bits are God's work. Without him there would be no Chelsea show.
